After seven weeks of the college football season, the top two teams have separated themselves from the pack. However, right below them, a grouping of squads has emerged to challenge the top two if any slip-ups occur. While not many teams fell out of the top 25 this week, there was certainly quite a bit of movement as teams began to define their seasons.

New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan saw what Tim Tebow did for a 1-4 Denver Broncos team last year. In fact, Ryan witnessed the Tebow effect up close last year, when in week 11 a late 20 yard TD scamper by the quarterback sealed a 17-13 victory over the Jets. That is, at least in part, why were led to believe that his team traded for the controversial superstar.
