In the movie Haywire, directed by Steven Soderbergh, Gina Carano has emerged has the best action hero on the planet. In the words of tonight’s round table host “The Soup’s” Joel McHale... “She is the only female action hero we have seen on screen that makes us believe she can really kick our ass”.
Gina can run better then Matt Damon from the Bourne movies. She can fight better then any guy I have seen on screen and from an acting standpoint... she delivered.
Everything about this movie worked. Haywire, has created a new action star. I promise the world will demand we see a lot more of her.
When asked “Why Gina”, Director Soderbergh said he was watching her fight on CBS and decided to build a film around her. It was that simple.
The action-thriller also stars Channing Tatum, Michael Fassbender, Ewan McGregor, Michael Angarano, Antonio Banderas, Michael Douglas and Bill Paxton.
Again, the result is one of the best action films every made.
