This is It! Music Video of the Year!
(2/8/2010)
by: Jim Stalker
If you are all like you me, you viewed the release of Micheal Jackson’s This is it! with a great deal of suspicion and cynicism. The endless torrent of tabloid information surrounding his career coupled with the bizarre reality of the actual circumstances of his untimely death, overshadowed any chance of objectivity walking into this film.

THE LAST STATION (Michael Hoffman 2010)
(2/6/2010)
by: Chris Knipp
A movie about the last days of the writer Leo Tolstoy and quarrels about his ideas and rights to his works. The director doesn’t make it clear what we’re supposed to think about all this and just seems to have encouraged his mostly English cast to ham it up.

Dear Margo: I have been married for 21 years. We have two daughters, 17 and 9. After we married, my husband started getting really mad at me and yelling until I cried. He blamed me for everything -- I was a bad housekeeper, I didn’t discipline the kids properly, I was too sensitive, etc.

American Idol Week 4 Recap
(2/5/2010)
by: Jim Stalker
Good news for some is Ellen DeGeneres joins the cast next week, taking over for who has proven to be an entirely forgotten judge. What was her name anyway? Hopefully the dancing-daytime-talk-show-host and star of Finding Nemo can be a counter balance to the increasingly annoying and soulful bobble head Kara.

The Who Play Super Bowl Halftime
(2/5/2010)
by: Jim Stalker
In the their prime, they were rocks most powerful band. Forget about Cream, no trio could touch them. While Zepplin outsold them and Bonham may be rocks greatest drummer, they never matched the improvisational fury of the Who. My Generation from Live at Leeds is a masterwork of group interplay, dynamics, and raw power. There is a precision in the Who that was lacking in other bands. This was because the musicians were certifiable inimitable musical geniuses.

Dear Margo: I have a dual problem concerning my mom and my two younger teenage sisters. Mom has always been strict and overprotective, but is more so with my little sisters. Will Obama Play the War Card?
(2/5/2010)
by: Pat Buchanan
Republicans already counting the seats they will pick up this fall should keep in mind Obama has a big card yet to play. Should the president declare he has gone the last mile for a negotiated end to Iran’s nuclear program and impose the "crippling" sanctions he promised in 2008, America would be on an escalator to confrontation that could lead straight to war.
